PAPER & PAPER «SOPHIE #OUTCOLLECTION»

Holaaaa!!!!! Cómo va el verano??? La Espejuelos aún no se ha ido de vacaciones así que hoy os traemos una gafa de sol de PAPER & PAPER Eyewear. Teníamos muchas ganas de hacer un post de esta marca porque además de ser española, que sabéis que la tierra tira mucho, es una marca muy especial ya que sus gafas son todo originalidad por estar hechas con papeles reciclados!!! si, si con papel!!! combinan acetato y metal con todo tipo de papeles: cómics vintage, magazines, periódicos…etc para hacer gafas únicas e irrepetibles.

Su fabricación es totalmente artesanal, existen dos conceptos distintos dependiendo de dónde se encuentra el papel, revistiendo la gafa por fuera (#OUTCOLLECTION) o en el interior del acetato mediante una técnica exclusiva (#INCOLLECTION) que ya os contaremos.

Para revestir las gafas utilizan la técnica «decoupage» con largos tiempos de secado, prensado y barnizado, por lo que las gafas son super resistentes y no hay dos gafas iguales, así que total exclusividad para quien las lleve!!! Os dejamos un video al final para que veais cómo lo hacen 🙂 .

La gafa que os enseño hoy es el modelo SOPHIE que pertenece a la colección #OUT. Está fabricada en acetato y revestida en su parte exterior de cómic vintage con una mezcla de colores increíble, tiene una forma ligeramente «cat eye» de tamaño perfecto para todos los días. No me digáis que no es una gafa de lo más bonita y original.

Hello!!! what about the summer??? La Espejuelos has not gone on vacation yet so today we bring you PAPER & PAPER sunglasses. We really wanted to make a post of this brand because besides being Spanish, you know that the homeland throws a lot, is a very special brand as their glasses are all originality to be made from recycled paper !!! yes, yes paper !!! acetate and metal combined with all kinds of papers: vintage comics, magazines, newspapers … etc to make unique and unrepeatable frames.

Its manufacture is entirely handmade, there are two different concepts depending on where the paper is, coating the frame outside (#OUTCOLLECTION) or inside the acetate using a unique technique (#INCOLLECTION) that we will tell you in the future.

To coat the glasses they use technology «decoupage» with long drying, pressing and varnished, so the glasses are super tough and no two equal frames, so total exclusivity for those who take them !!! We leave you a video at the end so you can see how they do :).

The glasses that I show you today is the SOPHIE model, Belongs to #OUTCOLLECTION . It is made of acetate and coated on the outside with a vintage comic with an incredible mix of colors, it has a shape slightly «cat eye» and a perfect size for every day. Do not tell me it’s not a very beautiful and original glasses.
