J.F. REY es historia viva dentro del diseño independiente. La casa francesa inaugurada en los 80s por el Jean-François Rey es después de mas de 30 años una de las colecciones mas vivas y alucinantes del momento sabiéndose adaptar a las tendencias de cada época marcando su propio estilo. Se ha caracterizado siempre por aunar tecnología, creatividad e innovación mezclando coloridos únicos y formas siempre distintas que se salen de lo común. Todas las gafas de J.F. Este modelo unisex puede aparentar a primera vista una gafa «pantos» (redondeada) con un toque especial a dos colores desde la lejanía, pero en realidad, son dos gafas en una literalmente ya que tanto metal como acetato se unen al 50% para formar una gafa híbrida como nunca habíamos visto, consiguiendo un diseño muy especial y elegante. Las lentes quedan ensambladas en las piezas de acetato del frente dejando un espacio «al aire» que aporta ese toque «técnico» a la gafa. Sin duda esta es una de las gafas del momento, un diseño que con el tiempo será para coleccionistas.
Coincidiendo con el 30 aniversario de la marca en 2015, J.F. REY sacó al mercado la colección 1985, la reedición «actualizada» de modelos de la primera etapa de una manera única y que a los que éramos demasiado jóvenes en aquella época nos hace ser partícipes de aquel momento de la historia del diseño de gafas. This unisex model may at first glance look like a «pantos» (rounded) frame with a special touch to two colors from a distance, but in fact, they are two frames in one literally, since both, metal and acetate join 50% to form a hybrid frame like we had never seen, getting a very special and elegant design. The lenses are assembled in the acetate pieces of the front leaving a space «to the air» that brings that «technical» touch to the glasses. Without doubt this is one of the frame of the moment, a design that will eventually be for collectors.
Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the brand in 2015, J.F. REY released the «1985» collection, the «updated» reissue of models of the first stage in a unique way and that, to those who were too young at that time, makes us participants of that moment in the history of the eyewear design.
